Boulazac beaten in Pau, Orléans now has the same record as the BBD. Indeed, the OLB signed its 14th victory of the season by winning against Poitiers this Friday, December 27 for the 18th day of Pro B. Once again, Lee Moore (18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for 21 evaluation) guided the Loiretains.
Blois and Roanne on the heels of Boulazac and Roanne
With 14 victories and 4 defeats, Boulazac and Orléans are ahead of Blois (13-5) and Roanne (13-5) in the standings. Blois dominated an Antibes team (10-8) too soft on rebounds (35 shots to 20) and more generally on defense (98 points conceded at 57.8% shooting success) to achieve a relatively quiet success . La Chorale had more difficulty outpacing Denain (8-10) but the Dragons' clumsiness at 3-points (8/36) helped a lot.
This leading quartet distanced Aix-Maurienne (12-6) which lost on the SCABB floor (9-9). Close to crisis, the Saint-Chamond Andrézieux team responded positively to the pressure from the sports director by ending the year 2024 with two victories, Marquis Jackson (16 points) in the lead. Still as solid, the promoted Caen (11-7) returns to a victory for the AMSB after its victory in Marseille against Fos Provence. The BYers (15th with 6 victories in 18 matches), led by Robert Turner III (30 points), keep losing.
We can't stop Rouen!
After a disappointing start to the season, Rouen finished 2024 with a bang. Sylvain Delorme's team returns to Antibes and Poitiers (10-8) after its seventh victory in a row. Above all, Clarence Nadolny (16 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists for 19 rating) & co continue to win very largely. This time, they won 90 to 67 in Vichy (6-12).
Alliance Sport Alsace is one of three teams with a balanced record (9-9) at mid-season, along with SCABB and Élan Béarnais. Gries-Souffel's players largely won (+38) at the bottom of Pro B, Chartres (3-15), being once again guided by Shannon Bogues (27 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for 35 rating).
Évreux beat Hyères-Toulon on the buzzer
The gap is made in the standings with Denain (8-10) but also Hyères-Toulon (7-11) which lost to Évreux (6-12) on the buzzer. It is Aaron Levarity (9 points and 15 rebounds for 19 evaluation) who gave the victory to ALM with a barely successful tap before the buzzer.
Finally, Champagne Basket (6-12) won the match of fear against Nantes (4-14). Thus, Champagne Basket and Évreux make a hole in the relegation zone, where we find Hermine and Chartres.
