Attention Delta Force players, we have something new! Something is brewing for the game and it's coming very soon.
Barely released on PC, the new Delta Force is already a hit on Steam. As of this writing, there are nearly 50,000 players happily tearing each other apart on the battlefield. With its two game modes, Team Jade's FPS has managed to convince, although everything is not yet completely ready. In particular, a big part of the game is still missing, its PvE mode.
A new game mode for Delta Force
Basically, Delta Force was sold to us as a free FPS with multiplayer and a single-player campaign. If the latter is not the subject here, Rick Liao, the design director of the title still came to talk to us about PvE in the columns of PC Gamesn. The man confirmed thata raid mode would soon be offered. He says this mode will be a nice homage to classic Delta Force campaigns. “They are purely PvE and we are trying to recreate the same kind of experience as the good old Delta Force” he specifies.
Raid mode will offer four missionsns on so many different and new maps. There will be no question of digging into multiplayer maps. The studio has created new environments specially designed for the occasion. “In this mode, players will be able to experience four distinct levels, each with different gameplay and challenges” explains Laio.
Furthermore, Raid mode will be closely linked to Operation mode, the in-house Tarkov. In this sense, all equipment recovered in Operation mode can be used without risk in Raid mode. The goal is to allow players to enjoy hard-earned rewards when playing Extraction Mode.
An imminent release?
Raid mode therefore has everything to please on paper, it now remains to be seen what it will really be since the developer does not give any additional details. We don't even know when exactly the mode will be released. Rick Laio simply points out thatit arrives at the same time as the Black Hawk Down campaign which is planned for January 2025.
