Homage to the diversity of human experiences that make up France today, the new show Apolline at your home will arrive on RMC Story from Saturday January 11.
In a new program broadcast from January 11 at 8:30 p.m. on RMC Story, Apolline de Malherbe will meet the notable listeners of her morning show, Apolline Morningbroadcast on RMC and RMC Story. During this meeting, in the form of an intimate format, the host will immerse herself in the daily life of a person to revisit their story and their journey. Through authentic, funny or moving exchanges, the show will paint a portrait of France in all its diversity and complexity. This production will replace the talk show This is France by Yasmine Oughlis, which has not found its audience since its first broadcast at the end of August.
The objective of this new show is to give a voice to the anonymous and to reflect the realities experienced by the French. By inviting herself into their daily lives, Apolline de Malherbe highlights unique trajectories and stories, revealing ordinary lives with extraordinary journeys. “They came to testify at Apolline’s house. It's their turn to receive it… at home“, explains the channel's advertising.
Fabienne's testimony
In the first issue of the magazine, the journalist meets Fabienne, 58, a domestic worker in Châtellerault (Vienna). Fabienne has several employers and does ironing work at home to achieve a monthly income of 1,300 euros. His exhausting days extend from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., leaving no time for leisure. Her only true happiness is taking care of her grandson. It is for him that she continues to rent the small house where she welcomes Apolline de Malherbe, despite insufficient income and crushing fatigue.
Through the story of Fabienne and other anonymous people, by combining proximity and sincerity, the show intends to create a strong bond with viewers.
