From 6 p.m., this Sunday, December 22, 2024, Aveyron will go into double yellow vigilance for wind and snow-ice. What to expect in the department?
Already placed on yellow alert vent this Sunday, December 22, 2024, Aveyron will switch to double alert from 6 p.m., with snow also to be monitored closely.
Until at least midnight
According to the Météo France bulletin, the two alerts are active at least until midnight and therefore on the way to this Monday December 23, 2024. The department is not impacted by vigilance regarding floods, which is the case of its Lot neighbor.
What forecasts?
First regarding the wind, Météo France predicts gusts of up to 70 km/h this Sunday evening in Salles-Curan. The wind will blow almost as strong at Réquista (65 km/h), Laguiole, La Salvetat, Sévérac and Belmont (60 km/h). Values which could remain just as high overnight with 70 km/h at Salles-Curan again and 60 km/h in Sévérac and Réquista.
On the subject of snow, Météo France mentions a few flakes in Laguiole, Sévérac and Salles-Curan in the evening and at night. On the side of Rodeza combination of rain and snow should fuel the nighttime atmosphere.
