An accident between a tram and a vehicle occurred this Thursday, December 19, around 8 a.m., in Bordeaux. Traffic is severely disrupted on lines C and D.

A tram accident took place around 8 a.m. this Thursday, December 19, near the Sainte-Croix stop in Bordeaux. According to initial information, at least two cars were hit by the front of the tram.
The first vehicle, a gray van, allegedly collided with the tram. The latter would have derailed before hitting a second vehicle, which appeared to be parked at this location. Firefighters were quickly dispatched to the scene. We do not know, at this time, if there are any injuries.
Traffic is severely disrupted on lines C and D, which both pass through the Sainte-Croix stop located on the platforms. The stops between Quinconces and Saint-Jean station are not served on line C. Traffic is also interrupted between Quinconces and Carles Vernet for line D. Several buses are available in relays: lianes G, 20 and 23, from 9:15 a.m.
