Today the wind is gradually decreasing, but so is the temperature. Cooler air is entering our country and there are showers. The sun that we have not seen for a very long time will return tomorrow.

Today a zone of rain will move into the country from the west. The temperature last night was between 11 and 13 degrees, which is unusual for a winter night. But the temperature is dropping, by the end of the afternoon it will be about 6 degrees.

Wind

The wind that rages over the land is gradually decreasing. Later today, a moderate to sea quite strong or powerful northwest wind will blow (wind force 3 to 6).

This afternoon it will remain cloudy, while an area of rain will quickly move across the country towards Germany. Behind this rain area, the sun will occasionally break through in the north and west. Tonight it will be partly cloudy and some showers will move across the country from the northwest. There is a risk of hail and occasional thunderstorms, especially in the northwestern coastal area.

Tomorrow the day will look completely different than what we have been used to lately. The sun shines especially in the morning and it remains dry. Those rays of sunshine will take some getting used to. “In contrast to the past gray days, tomorrow looks a lot friendlier,” says meteorologist Maurice Middendorp of Buienradar.

During the day, the cloud cover will increase again from the southwest. Towards the end of the day it will be cloudy again in many places.

Maurice Middendorp tells you about the weather.

It remains dry, the weak to moderate westerly wind turns to the southwest during the day and keeps the temperature limited to a maximum of 7 degrees.

The weekend and the beginning of next week will be changeable, with little sun and frequent showers. Most rain falls on Sunday. There is a strong wind, with a chance of heavy gusts of wind near the sea on Sunday and Monday.
