Consumer reminder, announced this Tuesday, December 12, a batch of semi-cooked duck foie gras, sold vacuum packed in Haute-Garonne is recalled due to a risk of contamination to the listeria monocytogenes (agent responsible for listeriosis).
Consumption deadline December 19
The government website announces that the recalled foie gras is of brand Marquisat Plus and bears the number of lot 247R340IZ. The product in question has a expiration date fixed to the December 19, 2024and was marketed in the Marquisat boutique located in Bruguières, north of Toulouse, between November 19 and November 27.
Method to adopt
It is recommended by the platform not to consume or use the product. People who have purchased potentially contaminated foie gras can also contact the point of sale, or return the product there. It is also possible to destroy it.
What if we are contaminated?
Anyone who has a fever, body aches, or headaches and who has consumed the product could be contaminated. The disease has an incubation period of up to eight weeks. It is therefore preferable to go to your doctor.
