The Christmas bonus will be paid to beneficiaries of minimum social benefits on Tuesday December 17, recalls TF1. Only people receiving RSA, ASS or the retirement equivalent will be entitled to it. Would you like this bonus to be generalized to all French people?

A small consolation but still better than nothing, the Christmas bonus is paid in to people receiving minimum social benefits, i.e. around 2.3 million households. The amount, which does not change compared to last year despite inflation, will be paid this Tuesday, December 17, reports TF1. Indeed, according to Paul Christophe, Minister of Solidarity, this aid is being renewed “with the same amounts as last year”he specifies in the columns of Ouest-France. “The premium has never been subject to inflation”he concludes.

How much is the premium and who pays it?

But then, who are the people concerned and who pays the premium? If you receive active solidarity income (RSA), it is the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) which will pay you the amount. If you depend on the agricultural regime, it is the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) which will send you the amount. If you receive the specific solidarity allowance (ASS) or the retirement equivalent allowance, this will be the responsibility of France Travail.

A person living alone and without dependent children will receive 152.45 euros. The increase will then be 50% when the household is made up of two people, whether a spouse or a child, then 30% for each additional child.
