Territorial agents in the region will be trained by speakers from the National Center for Territorial Civil Service (CNFPT) in the challenges of ecological transition as part of the “iTEEnéraire” system. In total, 10,000 agents spread across 11 communities, including those of Agglopolys, Grand Chambord and Tours Métropole, will be able to benefit from this training.
In Blois, this initiative has already seen precedents: “In 2009, cemetery officials began working without pesticidesrecalls Corinne Garcia, deputy for civil life and personnel. Today, our gardeners go to the communities of the department to help others do the same. »

This is the number of territorial agents affected by this system in Loir-et-Cher.
7.5 million euros committed
The training is designed according to each profession, based on feedback and proposals made by territorial agents. For the moment, four sectors are ready to follow these lessons: gardening, premises maintenance, public orders and building renovation. Ultimately, all agents should be able to train on the issues of ecological transition.
“No region has yet deployed a system of such magnitudewelcomes Jérémie Godet, vice-president of the Region responsible for ecological transformations. For example, we can train canteen restaurateurs in purchasing local products to support our farmers, and in developing vegetarian recipes enjoyed by children. »
The system is part of the France 2030 program, a national plan to invest in industrialization, innovation and ecological transition. It is therefore financed to the tune of 5.2 million euros by the State. The remaining 2.3 million euros are distributed between the Centre-Val de Loire region, the CNFPT and Ademe (Ecological Transition Agency).
