The body of Janis Timma was found at about one in the morning in the Orange hostel, located on the first floor of a five-story building on Sergei Makeev Street. The cause of death was asphyxia. The athlete was 32 years old.
The body was found by a hostel guest 16 minutes after death occurred. According to one version, the day before Timma tried to meet Sedokova, whom he had recently divorced, to congratulate her on her birthday. The singer did not answer. Next to Timma’s body they found a phone with a note in which the basketball player asks to “dial Anna” and thank her for everything.
The hostel, according to Shot, has closed for unknown reasons. “His employees answer calls and claim that there are no available numbers,” writes the telegram channel.
In October, Anna Sedokova filed for divorce, and last week the magistrate granted the singer’s claim. The media write that Timma was having a hard time with the breakup and was depressed.
Anna Sedokova's first husband in 2004–2006 was Belarusian and Ukrainian football player, captain of Dynamo Kyiv Valentin Belkevich. He died on August 1, 2014 from thromboembolism. She has been married to Timma Sedokova since 2020.
