Until the honeymoon, everything was okay for Francisca and Kevin in the current season of “Wedding at First Sight”. But in Vietnam, the whole “marriage” venture took a bit of a hit and the bride fled the shared suite. Time out with the newlywed couple. All of a sudden things weren’t looking good at all in terms of our future together. What’s next?
First, gain some distance and take a day of separation. After the day apart, Kevin seems pretty relaxed. He doesn’t seem to have lost his optimism. He has somewhat recovered from the shock of his wife’s departure, writes Franciska a letter, is self-critical, apparently knows that he has made a real mess with his overly casual sayings and his questionable taste in T-shirts.
‘The bride enjoyed the day alone. She wants to have the feeling from the wedding again, because everything was beautiful and harmonious. And she also still has hope for a happy ending: “I’m not giving up!” she says fiercely. If she likes the letter, there’s a good chance Kevin won’t stay home alone after all.
“Wedding at first sight” – suddenly Kevin is back in the game
After Francisca read the letter in which Kevin sprinkled ashes on his head, she is very impressed: It looks very much like a new beginning: She wants a friendly phase of getting to know each other because she sees the marriage as the starting signal for the first date. And after the clarifying conversation, Kevin can hardly believe his luck that he gets a second chance.
The waves seem to have calmed down. In new clothes – tailored in Vietnam – the two set off for a new beginning. Across the Vietnamese market of your holiday home – mission: getting to know each other while strolling through the streets. And it works: it was wonderful for Francisca, Kevin is beaming again too – it’s okay. So let’s go home and see you again in Germany.
Visit to Francisca at the horse farm. Small amount of work by the young couple. Kevin collects plus points. This way of getting to know each other should continue. The crisis seems to have finally been overcome, a separation averted – and we’re moving on towards the finale of “Wedding at First Sight”, happy ending not out of the question? ■
