Mabel (21) from Lucerne was very close to the favorite – but in the end it wasn’t enough. In the finale of the Swiss dating show Bachelor, the very last rose went to another woman.

She almost managed to get the last rose from Swiss Bachelor Dennis: Mabel (21) from Lucerne. The model was one of initially twelve candidates – ultimately there were 21 women because more and more were added – who vied for the Rosenkavalier’s heart (zentralplus reported).
In the final episode on “3+” there were four women who each had to share a double date with the bachelor. Two of them made it to the final.
So Mabel and Michèle – also a model – meet Dennis on a date on the tallest building in Bangkok. “The duel of the models” so to speak.
The Prosecco should not be missing
Later, the three of them make themselves comfortable in a jacuzzi, drink Prosecco and talk about sex. Dennis says he can already feel a crackling feeling that he is “on fire” for the two women.
But ultimately the bachelor has to decide who he wants to end the evening with – and which woman he wants to send home: Dennis wants to stay with Mabel.
“But at that time I actually fell in love, yes.”
Mabel to Dennis
Michèle leaves the jacuzzi and a little later Dennis and Mabel are making out. The two then go to a suite, where – again with a glass of Prosecco – Mabel reveals her feelings.
A pretty vague love confession
“I wish we had seen you more,” she begins her confession of love. “But at that time I actually fell in love, yes.”
This flatters the bachelor. “That’s exactly what I wanted to hear.” The two kiss again. Mabel clearly feels comfortable in his arms. “It feels like we’re already a couple.”
“Are you as excited as I am?”
Dennis
But only almost. Another woman didn’t leave the bachelor indifferent on her first double date: Venance (29) from Brig-Glis (Valais).
The very last rose goes to…
Finally the day of the final decision comes. Dennis – white tuxedo, black shirt, white bow tie – walks to the red carpet where he will announce his decision. In front of him are Mabel – floor-length, baby blue dress – and Venance – also in floor-length dress, but in glitter.
“Are you as excited as I am,” Dennis asks, repeatedly breathing deeply in and out. He compliments both women, but he has only fallen in love with one: Venance.
Mabel reacts sportily. She will later say to the camera that she is “very disappointed”. But she took everything on the dating show as it came.
The winner runs towards the bachelor. There’s a kiss, they hug, he picks her up, they kiss.
Finally Mabel says goodbye. She wishes them both “all the happiness of this life.” “Congratulations,” she says – and runs away.
So the 13th Swiss Bachelor season comes to an end. It remains to be seen whether the 32-year-old and 1.95 meter tall man became a couple with his chosen one.
