This Monday, December 16, 2024, on the set of Time for the prosminds were elsewhere. As sadly announced Pascal Praudall the CNEWS teams but also more generally the Canal+ group are mourned by the death of Audrey Misiraca, who served as director of the show for 11 years. The latter leaves behind her companion Matthieu as well as their two children aged 7 and 11. A fund was opened to help the family overcome, at least financially, this painful ordeal.
The collection was launched via the Ulule platform. “In support of Audrey Misiraca and her entire family! To accompany Audrey, Matthieu and their children at the time of the great ordeal“, we can read in the title. This jackpot, at the initiative of two colleagues of the young widower Matthieu, dates from before his death. “Matthieu Misiraca is our 'Director of Photography' in our film tribute to the Sacred Heart of Jesus currently in production (…). Matthieu learned the sad news of Audrey entering palliative care when we were on set a few weeks ago…“, we learn. It is thus a question of appealing to the generosity of everyone, in particular the young woman's work colleagues. “We know that all the channel's teams, and there are many of them, have great affection for him and check in on him very regularly.“, we can read.
Pascal Praud's beautiful gesture in response to the death of a close colleague
At the time of writing this article, 53 contributions have been recorded for a total of 2,615 euros. Among the donors, Pascal Praud. The latter contributed 200 euros to this prize pool. That's not all: the host who had to face the death of his father last October wanted to leave a few words. “Dear Audrey, I will not forget your strength or your courage. Sadness this Sunday. Thoughts and prayers“, he wrote. The amount collected is intended to “offer Audrey a dignified funeral“, “find a peaceful place in the Boulogne cemetery where she can rest in peace“, “support Matthieu and his children” Then “help them cover costs and give them a little help afterwards“. Because their financial situation is not simple: “They are destitute. They did not take out funeral insurance contracts in time. The costs are exorbitant. Their respective families cannot help them financially.”
All our condolences to the loved ones of Audrey Misiraca.
