And in particular Sophie Marceau.
A few hours before presenting the Miss France 2025 competition at the Arena Futuroscope, Jean-Pierre Foucault visited Eric Dussart on RTL. The opportunity for him to talk about his meeting, which he will never forget, with the actress, now 58 years old.
And for good reason, she agreed to appear on his show Sacred Evening…to tell him that she did not want to come. “She came to tell me she wouldn’t come.”assured Jean-Pierre Foucault.
Sophie Marceau refuses to go to “Sacrée Soirée”
Eric Dussart, surprised by this announcement, wanted to know more. “In Le Parisien Matin we explained that Sophie Marceau was going to come to Sacrée Soirée, she was one of our guests for the film called Chouans! by Philippe de Broca. And she calls and she says: 'But I never agreed!'“, then clarified the host.
In fact, Jean-Pierre Foucault and his team called the press officer “the most famous in Paris”. “She said: 'yes but no but there is a problem…'I answer: 'we did all the promotion on his presence etc. it's not possible' so she said 'since that's how it is, I'm going to go there to say why, I'm not coming' and so she came, she said why she wasn't coming and she left. It's unique though.”remembered the 77-year-old presenter.

“I tried to contact Sophie Marceau to tell her that it wasn't normal that she wasn't coming and finally she told us, 'I'm coming' like what's the point of yelling”he said in the podcast.
Before returning to the comments made by the actress: “I'm going to explain to you why I'm not coming this evening so I wasn't warned, me this, me that, that's why I had the right to say that I wasn't coming to Sacrée Soiree, this is what I wanted to say to you thank you very much dear Jean Pierre goodbye' and she left so it's the only time in my career (…) that an artist came to tell me that he wouldn't come like that”.
