Hugo Palomba, 24 years old, young actor originally from Mont-Saint-Aignannear Rouen (Seine-Maritime), appears in the new episode of Out of Limitsa detective TV film broadcast Monday December 16, 2024 at 9:05 p.m.

In the role of Mathis, a fiery and carefree young man, he plays alongside Laurent Gerrafamous impersonator and comedian, and Caterina Murinoactress renowned notably for her role in James Bond Casino Royal.

For him, it all started four years ago. “I started to take lessons in two companies in Rouen: Acadrama and Qui-Vive. » Several appearances in projects in Paris followed, and not the least: For France (2022), Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan (2023), the Minion (2024)…

Off limits: a murder in the mountains

All it took was casting for Hugo to convince the production. Tour in January 2024, Out of bounds is a series of three detective films. The story is that ofa murder
that of an executive of a multinational assassinated on a chairlift in the French Alps. The funny Captain Andréas Meyer, played by Laurent Gerra, interferes in the investigation and he intends to solve it.

Hugo plays an “ancillary” role. “He’s a guy who enjoys off-piste snowboarding with his friend, he’s hugely insolent. This insolence triggers the rest of the plot, despite himself,” explains the actor.

It's funny, because I often go to castings to play the bad boy, even though I'm not like that in real life. It's cool because it's far from me, there's no connection with my reality.

This TV film was a double challenge for the young Normand: “I did the snowboarding scenes without a stuntman. I had taken lessons five years ago, so I had to get back into it and prepare myself well.”

A lever for his career

For him, this new role is “an opportunity”. “The first two parts worked well, there is a new dimension in the third,” smiles Hugo. And to add, “it will bring me credibility and a great experience ».

The filming conditions were not trivial: “The set in the mountains, in the open air, it’s crazy. There's the space, the distractions… It'll be easy now to go back to a casting room! “.

Hugo is proud to have been part of the team. “I sympathized with Laurent Gerra, my father is a fan of this guy too! He comes from there so he introduced us to the mountains and the local restaurants.”

Upcoming projects

Hugo has great ambitions. He wants to touch on auteur cinema. “I don’t necessarily want a big role, but to be in a very nice project. »

Hugo is already in the cinema gear. He filmed for four months in Morocco for a leading role in the second season of the series Black Heartsbroadcast on Amazon Prime. There he is a sniper for the French Special Forces deployed to Iraq in 2016 to track down terrorists. Release scheduled for March 2025.
