The conditions have been registered in the municipalities of Los Realejos (4,877 subscribers), Guía de Isora (2,531 subscribers), Santa Úrsula (1,100 subscribers) and La Victoria de Acentejo (1,066 subscribers).
As a consequence of this meteorological situation, two stubble fires have occurred in La Orotava and La Victoria, where firefighters, Volunteers from Los Realejos, Forestry Brigades of the Cabildo (Brifor) and Civil Protection acted.
Among the incidents on roads and accesses on the island, obstacles on roads due to falling trees, branches, walls and signs, cars displaced by the wind and neighbors cut off due to landslides on agricultural roads stand out.
By area, the areas that have recorded wind gusts exceeding 100 km/h are Anaga (Las Carboneras area), El Sauzal, La Victoria and Santa Úrsula.
Wind gusts of between 70 and 100 km/h have been recorded in the La Orotava valley, generally above 90 km/h.
In Punta del Hidalgo and in two areas in the south of Tenerife (Tijoco and Tamaimo) the wind gusts have reached around 80 km/h.
The Cabildo of Tenerife adds that the number of calls received in the emergency operational room on the island has reached 1,634, while the number of interventions by the Tenerife Fire Department rises to 84.
