FC easily won at the Dezavelle stadium against Puy Foot 43 (4-0) and qualified for the round of 16 of the Women's French Cup. An offensive success that will have to be confirmed in the Second League…

In great difficulty in the Second League, FC Metz is getting a new breath of fresh air in the Women's French Cup. As against Molsheim (R1) a few weeks ago in the previous round, Marine Morel's protégés were able to be full of confidence against an opponent of lower caliber. The de Lorraine club won without much difficulty on its home field, 4 goals to 0, against Puy Foot 43, resident of D3 Féminine. It was Inès Boutaleb who found the fault first, with a unstoppable strike (1-0). Shortly after, on a good serve from Amélie Joseph, Leina Feddaoui shot the Auvergne goalkeeper and put hers away, just before the break (2-0). Melissa Bethi increased the score after returning from the locker room (3-0). On a penalty, Seynabou Mbengue completed the great Metz victory (4-0).FC Metz held its place and did the job perfectly against Puy Foot 43 and qualified for the round of 16 of the French Women's Cup. Now it's time for long weeks of rest for the Messines, before a crucial trip (January 19) to Orléans, dead last in the Second League.
