Hello everyone and welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the Miss France 2025 competition. The immarcescible host Jean-Pierre Foucault is presenting his thirtieth election this year. At 77 years old, he is still “loyal to the job”, as he declared to Télé 7 jours and has no intention of hanging up.
“As long as I have the physical and intellectual capacity, I will try to do it. But I am not going to cling indefinitely to the queen’s scepter,” he still tells TV Magazine.
His first Miss France evening was in Lille, in 1995, he remembers it very well.
“Until then, the show was broadcast on France 3. We kicked things off by modernizing it with decor, lights, music,” he says in TV Magazine.
“The French are still there because Miss France is a family show, healthy and modern, whatever its detractors say,” he also defends.
