Snowfall is in progress on the Col de la Chavade. The circulation of articulated heavy goods vehicles is prohibited on the N102 from Labégude to the limit of Haute-Loire until 10 a.m. tomorrow.
This Friday, December 13, Météo France placed the Ardèche department on yellow alert for the snow-ice phenomenon.
The rain-snow limit is between 800 and 1,000 meters. A maximum snow depth, of around 5 centimeters, can be reached on the Ardèche plateau.
Taking into account these weather conditions, an order restricting the circulation of articulated heavy goods vehicles on the RN 102 between Labégude and the Haute-Loire limit was issued as of this Friday, December 13, 4:30 p.m. and until tomorrow Saturday December 14 at 10 a.m.
The services of the State and the departmental council are mobilized. The prefecture calls on all road users to exercise extreme caution.
As a reminder, all vehicles must be equipped with winter tires or have snow chains or socks in mountainous areas.
