Tuesday December 10, 2024 is match night for Stade Brestois, at Roudourou in Guingamp (Côtes-d'Armor). This meeting against PSV Eindhoven, on behalf of the 6th day of the Champions League, is synonymous with heavy traffic on the roads of North Finistère. In particular the RN12, between Brest and Guingamp.
Several incidents
On leaving Brest, a little after 6 p.m., a first accident took place on the RN12. Four vehicles collided between the premises of the Le Saint company and the Brest Bretagne airport interchange. The damage, material only, caused a big slowdown, including the fan buses which had just taken to the road.
Around 7 p.m., an accident involving a van and a vehicle occurred, on the same axis, at the Morlaix road bridge (Finistère). The accident did not cause any injuries. The Interdepartmental Direction of Western Roads (Diro) was on site and traffic had been reduced to one lane.
A supporter bus was 45 minutes late than the initially planned time.
At 8:10 p.m., the road was clear according to Bison futé.
