Several interested European top clubs are monitoring the situation of Rayane Bounida (18) at Ajax. Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano reported this news on Tuesday morning via X. The Belgian midfielder will expire from his contract in Amsterdam next summer.

On Monday evening, Bounida made his debut in professional football. The right-footed attacking midfielder played for four minutes against De Graafschap (2-0 win) and immediately managed to score.

In injury time, Bounida beautifully cut down his opponent, after which he neatly shot the ball behind goalkeeper Joshua Smits. Partly because of this, Young Ajax took three points in the Kitchen Champion Division.

A day later, Romano reports to X. “The Ajax talent has joined Muy Manero and his contract expires next summer.”

“He is still in discussions with Ajax about a new contract, but many top clubs with interest are keeping an eye on the situation,” said Romano.

Bounida is captain of Belgium Under 19. Ajax picked up the top talent from RSC Anderlecht in the summer of 2022. Due to his age, Bounida could only sign for three seasons at the time.

The Newspaper previously revealed that Bounida earns at least half a million euros annually in Amsterdam. The Belgian is expected to have to give up if he wants to stay at Ajax.
