Lando Norris led the thrilling Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from start to finish to secure the constructors’ title for McLaren, as Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc achieved a hard-fought double podium for Ferrari.
All the Woking outfit needed was a race victory to win their first teams’ title since 1998 – the Briton got a strong start off the line and dominated the race, leaving Ferrari unable to overcome the points deficit despite having both drivers on the podium as Leclerc surged to third from 19th on the grid.

Elsewhere, Norris’ team mate Oscar Piastri crossed the line in P10 after clashing with Max Verstappen on the opening lap, earning the Dutchman a 10-second time penalty. The McLaren driver was handed an identical penalty for colliding with Franco Colapinto, but recovered to score a single point for the team.
Lewis Hamilton was fourth in his final race for Mercedes as he passed George Russell on the last lap of the race, with Verstappen settling for sixth. Pierre Gasly also outscored Nico Hulkenberg with a seventh place finish, sealing P6 for Alpine in the constructors’.
