The weather doesn't look good on Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, 2024, in Caen and in all of Calvados.

Météo France has just placed this Friday, December 6, the department in yellow alert for thunderstorms and violent winds and calls individuals to caution.

A very strong gust of wind on the coast

After a not unpleasant Friday, the weather is going quickly spoil in the night from December 6 to 7. From midnight, rain should appear. After a lull Saturday morning and early afternoon, the weather will go from bad to worse.

Météo France promises a hectic daywith a “very strong gust of wind” on the coast, with gusts up to 90 km/hwhich should also be felt inland.

No sun, the trend is gray

Showers should appear at nightfallaround 6 p.m., and don't let go all evening.

The weather promises to be just as disappointing on Sunday, December 8. Don't rely too much on the sun, the trend will be gray. Like the day before, the wind will blow up to 85-90 km/h.

As for temperatures, they will oscillate between 8 and 11 degrees all weekend.
