As expected, farmers gathered at the border posts yesterday evening from 9 p.m. We take stock live:

In the province of Liège:

  • On the E40:
  • At 4:35 p.m. in Welkenraedt the tractors have left the area and the roadway has been cleaned but the current section is still closed towards Liège. The diversion via exit 38 remains recommended.
  • Shortly before 6:00 p.m., the highway reopened towards Liège, the traffic jams cleared.
  • On the E25:
  • In Visé at 2:45 p.m., the tractors which blocked the highway in both directions, leave the area and take the road towards Liège by taking the E25 to Cherratte, they will then take the E40 to Crisnée exit 30, where they will leave the motorway towards Bierset.
  • At 3:25 p.m. the farmers are currently in the Cheratte trench where a long traffic jam has formed towards Loncin.
  • We also learn that this procession envisage a blockage at the Loncin interchange.
  • It’s 4:18 p.m.from the Perex center, the cameras show us the procession taking the E40 towards Brussels. Avoid the area between Blegny and Loncin, the journey time exceeds 60 minutes.
  • At 4:30 p.m., the tractors have just left the highway near Crisnée.
  • Return to normal around 6:00 p.m.

In the province of Hainaut:

  • On the E19 towards : the highway is closed near the Hensies border post in both directions. To reach , you must take the A16/E42.
