Gladbeck – December 4th, 2024 – “File number xy…unsolved” – After an armed robbery in Bottrop-Kirchhellen About a year and a half ago, the Recklinghausen police hoped to clear up the case with the help of the ZDF program “Aktenzeichen xy…unsolved”.
On April 30, 2023, two unknown men attacked a 39-year-old from Bottrop in an anteroom of a bank branch on Kirchhellener Straße. They threatened him with a knife and a gun – and demanded the money he had previously withdrawn.

Police hope for clues through “file number xy…unsolved”
They then demanded that he withdraw more money, but he refused. One of the perpetrators is then said to have pulled the trigger with the weapon – fortunately no shot was fired. The 39-year-old remained uninjured.
