Bayer Leverkusen is stepping up on the transfer market this winter. As 'Sport Bild' reports, Alejo Sarco's move to the Werkself has already been decided. The 18-year-old Argentine arrives on a free transfer from Vélez Sarsfield.

According to the report, the striker is planned in Leverkusen as an alternative to Victor Boniface (23) and Patrik Schick (28). Despite the arrival of Sarco, there should be no departure on the nine.
The 1.79 meter tall attacker is considered a great talent in his home country, but has not had any match practice for some time. After it became clear in June of this year that he would not be extending his expiring contract with Vélez, the Buenos Aires club quickly removed him from the squad.

Bayer already showed interest in the 18-year-old in the summer, but the clubs were unable to agree on a transfer fee. Sarco is now moving to Bayer Kreuz on a free transfer, where the transfer plans for the winter are not yet completed even after his signing.
