Tuesday evening, on the sidelines of Bayern Munich's 1-0 home defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi was once again the subject of insulting banners.

The Bayern Ultras are angry with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. A week after having already insulted him on the sidelines of Bayern/PSG, the south turn of the Allianz Arena in Munich once again displayed banners hostile to the president of PSG. The banners also targeted the leaders of Bayern Munich, who had apologized to PSG and Al-Khelaïfi last week.

Al-Khelaïfi and PSG insulted during Bayern/Leverkusen

This Tuesday evening, before the 1-0 defeat of Vincent Kompany's men against Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup, the Ultras in the south corner of the Allianz Arena displayed the following banners: “Walking away from the bend to court football’s enemies? Reconsider your priorities, FCB! Fuck you, Khelaifi! Fuck PSG. »

Banners which were quickly removed, but which made the rounds on social networks and should push Bayern Munich to communicate again. Last week, the Bavarian club dissociated itself from its Ultras: “FC Bayern would like to apologize when its opponents and their representatives in its stadium feel personally attacked in this manner and tone and are offended as a result. The club would like to clarify that these banners have not been authorized by FC Bayern and do not reflect its position. They do not correspond to the good, long-standing relationship between the two clubs. The tone of these banners also goes against the style of FC Bayern and the respectful relationship the club has with its international partners. »

The aversion of the Bayern Ultras towards Al-Khelaïfi and Qatar more generally finds its source in the partnership established in 2018 between the German club and Qatar Airways, which had replaced the German airline Lufthansa on the sleeve of the Bayern jersey. A partnership that the most committed Bayern supporters have never digested.
