In December, “In aller Friendship” doesn’t go quite according to plan on ARD. The reason for the cancellations is not just Christmas.
Dortmund – The viewers of “In aller Friendship” know and love the reliable routine: every Tuesday at 9 p.m. on ARD we go on visits to the Sachsenklinik. But in December, fans have to be prepared for a break on two Tuesdays – the series is canceled on these dates in favor of sports and Christmas programs.
“In all friendship” is canceled several times in December
With the return of Dr. However, Roland Heilmann (played by Thomas Rühmann) has positive news for many viewers. The long-time chief doctor and one of the oldest characters in the series had taken a long break, which fans were ambivalent about.
Roland has been back in everyday hospital life since November and is welcomed with open arms by the fans. But not all characters are currently viewed with so much favor. A newer role is causing dissatisfaction among fans: Some viewers find this character in “In aller Friendship” to be too arrogant and cheeky.
“In all friendship” on ARD: Two cancellations in December on these days
For December, fans of the series will have to prepare for less exciting stories from the Sachsenklinik. The ARD series is completely canceled on the following two Tuesdays:
- Tuesday, December 3, 2024: Instead of “In All Friendship” this will be shown from 8:15 p.m DFB Cup round of 16which extends until 11:30 p.m. and completely takes up the series space.
- Tuesday, December 24, 2024 (Christmas Eve): The ARD shows two Christmas films. “Adventure Christmas – Family can never be big enough” starts at 8:15 p.m., a Christmas family film, followed by the cult classic “Die Feuerzangenbowle” (1944) from 9:45 p.m.
Fans of the series will have to prepare for a change in the evening program on these days, but can look forward to “In aller Friendship” being broadcast regularly in December, apart from these exceptions. The usual broadcast time of 9 p.m. on Tuesdays remains as usual on the other dates in December.
