To overcome this problem, airlines have decided to adopt the concept of Black Friday and significantly lower their prices on a very specific date. Invented in the United States in 2017, “Travel Tuesday” has since reached France and is practiced by many companies such as Lufthansa, Air France, or British Airways.
But planes aren't the only ones offering these great promotions. Tour operators, cruises and hotels also usually provide big discounts on this date. If you are planning to go on vacation in the coming months, don't miss the fateful date!
In the United States, this operation was set for the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. But in Europe, this day which celebrates the end of the harvest is not very well known. We therefore prefer to explain that it takes place on the first Tuesday following Black Friday. This year's Travel Tuesday will be organized on Tuesday December 3, 2024.
What can we expect from this year's offerings? First of all, you should know that national or international flight offers vary from one company to another.
