A rant about the Advent calendar. School officials in Lens were called to order for having arranged work around this timetable. Xavier Bertrand, the president of Hauts-de-France, wonders: does National Education not have other priorities than tackling this and our traditions?
No student should be confronted with an Advent calendar in the school setting. Here is what we can read in this email obtained by the daily L'Union. An email from National Education sent to school officials. A call to order that provokes a reaction. “It's nonsense! Why? What's the point of banning it? Otherwise, we remove everything. We see it everywhere now. It's not just in schools, but in stores , businesses. Why would we ban that? It’s part of a social phenomenon.”
“The Advent calendar belongs to everyone”
“It is better to support students in difficulty,” believes this retired teacher. This ban provokes the anger of the senator of the department of Aisne, the Independents, Republic and Territory, Pierre-Jean Verzelene: “Whether we believe it or not, the Advent calendar belongs to everyone. It is part of of society. But behind that, it is this famous Wokist thought and I find that the message which is sent is part of this approach and these daily setbacks which we must no longer accept.
And on the social network to the Advent calendar and our traditions?
