Malik Tillman could soon be taking the next big career step. Since FC Bayern does not seem to be interested in the American’s return, a hot trail leads to the Premier League. Tillman is said to have specific inquiries from England’s elite league.

Last summer, FC Bayern could have brought Malik Tillman back immediately after his permanent transfer to PSV Eindhoven thanks to a clause – but to the offensive player’s surprise, they did not make use of it. Instead, he has been regularly proving his skills with the Dutch champions ever since.

Three top clubs are interested

With eight goals and four assists, the American has also made a name for himself outside the Netherlands. As Sky reports, the Nuremberg native has received specific inquiries from the Premier League. The interested clubs include Manchester United, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

His contract with PSV runs until 2028, but he has a release clause for next summer that allows him to move for a fee of between 30 and 40 million euros. However, the transfer fee would be freely negotiable in the upcoming winter transfer window. With a market value of 25 million euros (transfermarkt.de), PSV would probably ask for a lot more than they would get in the summer.

Tillman would like to return to FC Bayern

FC Bayern is not completely out of the race yet. The German record champions can bring Tillman back to Säbener Straße in the summer of 2026 for 35 million euros. Recently, the 22-year-old made no secret of his desire to return to his youth club.

“Of course I would have been happy if Bayern had brought me back, we’re talking about an absolute world club here.” However, he is “very happy” to play in Eindhoven. However, given his current performance, it will only be a matter of time before a move to a top club comes up.
