Will Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appear at Survivor Series: War Games? Side with Roman Reigns?

It’s been a while since Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson appeared on a WWE promotion, but the time may have arrived for him to return.

He won’t be in the ring, not just yet, but as the 2024 calendar gets set to turn to its final month, the six-month barrage of activity that features several of the Big 4 PLEs means that the Final Boss could be making an appearance. And with the Bloodline Civil War front and center in Saturday’s Survivor Series: War Games, it makes perfect sense for The Rock to appear at the event in Vancouver, Canada.

Being that War Games is in a steel cage, it might not make a ton of sense to see any level of actual match interference, but the last time The Rock appeared he sent a menacing gesture towards a Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes team-up. At the Bad Blood PLE in Atlanta, the two former rivals teamed together to take down Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. That match brought the return of Jimmy Uso, who kept the Tonga Twins from interfering in that match and helped Reigns and Rhodes secure a victory.

Following the match, The Rock appeared on the runway and didn’t seem to pleased to see his family member alongside Rhodes, considering the last two years of the story. The Rock, of course, is part of the Bloodline; a faction of Samoans that have been integral to the professional wrestling landscape for decades. He and Reigns are part of the Anoa’i branches, while the Jey and Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are under the Fatu branches, but all related in some way.

Now the question is, will Survivor Series be the perfect opportunity for The Rock to return to the WWE universe.
