At home, Dortmund long believed they had a victory against Bayern in the German Klassiker on Saturday (1-1). The Bavarian leaders are still undefeated this season in the league.

The Bavarian leaders were hot. Led during the Klassiker against Dortmund on Saturday on the Borussia pitch, Vincent Kompany's men finally snatched a draw (1-1) a few minutes before the final whistle, without being convincing. This is also the first home match without a win for BVB this season.

Not very dangerous in the first half, Bayern nevertheless created the first opportunity of the game in the eighth minute with a curling shot from Leroy Sané on the edge of the area, finally repelled with both fists by Gregor Kobel. But it was BVB who opened the scoring with a quick action. Launched on the left, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens pierced the Bavarian defense before sending, at the entrance to the area, a missile with his left foot into the opposite net (27th).

A few moments later, Harry Kane, hit in the right thigh, had to leave his partners and returned directly to the locker room. Little in sight, Mathys Tel was replaced after the hour mark, leaving his place to his compatriot Kingsley Coman.

Equalizer in the 85th minute

If the Bavarians can thank Manuel Neuer for keeping them alive with a decisive right-footed save in the 61st minute, they nevertheless showed a much better face in the second half. And ended up equalizing thanks to an unstoppable header from Jamal Musiala on a cross from Michael Olise (85th).

Bayern therefore remains undefeated this season in the league (9 wins, 3 draws) and is still largely the leader with 30 points. Since their disappointment in the Champions League in Barcelona (1-4) on October 23, the Bavarians had won seven victories in a row in all competitions, without conceding a single goal. Despite a bitter draw, Borussia moved up a place in the standings and are now fifth with 20 points.
