Continuation of the 5th day of the Europa League this Thursday evening with OGC Nice who absolutely had to take the three points at home to hope to continue in the competition. Franck Haise's team, in the last places in the standings, was therefore expected to dominate a Glasgow Rangers team which remained on 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the competition. It was not an easy thing and this was quickly confirmed after a simply chaotic first period on the part of the Niçois. After 45 minutes, Rangers simply led 3-0.

Nice fixed and almost eliminated
At the start of the match, Nice seemed too shy and suffered from the Scottish waves. The Côte d'Azur club went on the counterattack and wanted to punish in transition. But behind, the team showed too much wait-and-see attitude. Manchester United snatches victory, Frankfurt on the podium
In the other matches, Manchester United struggled against Bodo/Glimt but managed to come out of it. Everything started very well since Garnacho opened the scoring after just a minute of play. But the Norwegian club scored two goals to take the advantage. It took a double from Rasmus Hojlund to give victory to Ruben Amorim's men (3-2). In the clash between Tottenham and Roma, the two teams ended in a draw (2-2). Heung-Min Son found the net in this match as did Evan Ndicka on the Roma side and especially Hummels in stoppage time to equalize.
At the top of the ranking, Frankfurt regained its third place after its victory, not without difficulty, against Midtjylland. The in-form Marmoush gave his team the victory thanks to a penalty. Traveling to Real Sociedad, Ajax Amsterdam also had the opportunity to get on the podium. But the formation of former Nice coach Francesco Farioli fell against the Basques (0-2) and is now in 6th place in the ranking.
