He Real Madrid had in Anfieldin all probability, the most complicated match of the first phase of this Champions League. He seemed nervous, overwhelmed and in the 55th minute he was replaced by Ceballos, thus passing up another good opportunity to show that he can be important at Real Madrid.
And, last but not least, who comes out badly at Anfield is Carlo Ancelotti. The Italian is probably experiencing his most difficult season in the Real Madrid and criticism abounds at the same time as the difficulties generated by the increase in injuries. Without going any further, Camavinga joins the list and is another ‘headache’ for Carletto who opted for Fede Valverde on the right side to later bring on Lucas who was close to changing the game with the provocation of a penalty.
So, the Real Madrid left Anfield with goals over the heads of some of his players and with the question mark in which almost everyone except Courtois, who again stopped everything he could and Camavinga who, until his injury, gave a great version of what a complete midfielder has to be.
