Discover the Basket calendar and the challenges of the second phase of the Euroleague

The Tangos finished the first phase of the Euroleague on Wednesday evening. In two weeks, they will start the second on the floor of Basket Landes. Discover the Tango calendar and how to qualify for the rest.

Basket validated second place in Group B of the Euroleague by winning at Zabiny Brno (65-85) on Wednesday. The Tango will enter the second group phase with a positive record of four wins for two losses, interesting in view of the future.

Bourges Basket will launch its second phase of the Euroleague on the floor of Basket Landes

In a new Group E made up of six teams, the Berruyères will not again face the Turks of Mersin nor the Czechs of Brno, whom they already faced in the first phase. They will be opposed to the first three teams in Pool A: the Montoises of Basket Landes, the Italians of Schio and the Spanish of Salamanca.

Bourges tied with Basket Landes and Schio

The points won during the first phase are acquired and retained, and Mersin, undefeated on the European scene, already dominates this group E, with twelve points, ahead of a trio of Basket Landes – Schio – Bourges Basket (ten points). Salamanca (nine points) and Brno (eight points) follow.

To hope to continue the European adventure on the evening of Tuesday January 28, date of the last group match, Tango will need to rank among the first four of this group of six. The teams ranked first and second will qualify for the play-in semi-finals; the teams ranked third and fourth will play a play-in quarter-final while the fifth and sixth will be eliminated.
