The Red Party commence.
After five days of the Champions League, the ranking is starting to give a little more information. Thus, we can see that the first places are now (definitely?) monopolized by the favorites : Liverpool (1is), Inter Milan (2e), le FC Barcelona (3e) and Borussia Dortmund (4e). THE Reds take the lead thanks to a prestigious victory against Real Madrid, their side stuck in the 24the place.
Apart from PSG, the French are well placed
Nothing alarming in a first round where eight teams are directly qualified for the main draw and sixteen will have the possibility of going through the play-offs. For now, neither the Madrilenians nor Paris Saint-Germain (25e) are not in a good positionbut the following three matches should allow them to collect valuable points. Bayern Munich (13e), l’AC Milan (16e), Manchester City (17e) and la Juventus (19e) are temporarily blocking them.
As for other French clubs, Monaco remains in the right group (8e) despite their home defeat against Benfica. Brest (11e) and Lille (12e) follow very closely and see their chances of reaching the play-offs increase every week. With ten points each, the three representatives of France already have six more than PSG…
