Jérôme Anthony, what brings you to the theater?
“I was convinced by a producer and a director, by a group of actors that I knew well. I admit that I had been offered projects for a long time and that I was scared to get started. There, I was reassured and I launched into this piece which I found funny. The idea of going on tour in the provinces, of not playing exclusively in Paris appealed to me. All the lights were green. »
Host and actor, are these complementary or totally different professions?
“I have been an animator for a long time. I've been performing on stage with concerts for quite a few years. So, the stage, the animation, the theater, all of this is very complementary. We find ourselves doing the same exercise. Everything is enjoyable. I didn't have much apprehension, except for my memory. Afterwards, we play like kids. We're not going to lie to each other. We don't take ourselves seriously. It's a fairly light, boulevard piece as we know them well. We are not on a classic. It's funny at all the lines. There are doors slamming. This is a context that is familiar to us. »

Will Vittel be your first date in Lorraine and will your tour pass through Paris?
“No, we have already played in Lunéville. In Lorraine, we have Vittel and a little later Pont-à-Mousson. As for Paris, I don't think so. It wasn't the objective and it's certainly not my wish, because when we play in Paris, we're there every weekend and I don't particularly want it. I like going to the provinces and meeting the public who are watching us on TV. I've been doing it for a few years for shows Everyone in the kitchen with Cyril Lignac and for my concerts. It's consistent with what I do elsewhere. »
A bright future Sunday 1is December, 4 p.m., Alhambra space in Vittel. Reservations at the usual points of sale.
