Manchester City’s alarming draw against Feyenoord (3-3)in what was the team’s sixth consecutive game without knowing the taste of victory, gave rise to a worrying moment, when Pep Guardiola appeared, after the match, with scratches on his nose and head. The coach justified himself saying he wanted to hurt himself – allegedly taking into account the team’s bad moment – an explanation that, despite being given with laughter, left fans on alert. “I sincerely hope Guardiola has good contacts and people helping him. Mental health is not a joke and he is clearly going through a difficult time. He looked strange and ran out of the room after saying he wanted to hurt himself,” it reads himself in a comment on social network X. “When I saw it, I didn’t think it was light. And I don’t think anyone should. He [Guardiola] needs support,” said another user.

Nicky Crosby, presenter of ‘beIN Sports’, also didn’t let the episode go unnoticed: “In what other industry would this be considered normal? People would offer support and professional help. Why should it be any different in football? It is hard to see.”
It should be noted that this was another game to forget for Manchester City. Guardiola’s team was leading 3-0 after 75 minutes and conceded three goals… in the blink of an eye (75′, 82′ and 89′).
