Invited this Wednesday on La Grande interview Europe 1-CNews, Béatrice Burgère, the general secretary of the Unité Magistrates FO union denounced an increasingly worrying environment throughout the country. The two main adversaries: radical Islamism and drug trafficking.
An increasingly explosive situation. A report published by the Court of Auditors puts the finger on the gangrene which is now spreading to all the once peaceful towns and countryside. According to this report published this Tuesday, nearly 79% of municipalities are affected by drug trafficking. Guest on Wednesday of La Grande interview Europe 1-CNews, Béatrice Burgère, magistrate and very recently re-elected head of the Unité Magistrats FO union, returned to the subject by assuring that there were “two criminal threats which are almost threats which affect the very existence of our society.”
“Radical Islamism is not just about attacks”
At the microphone of Sonia Mabrouk, the one who also recently published a book entitled Justice: Rising anger explains that this alarming situation, detailed in the report, has unfortunately been known internally for some time. “We have been sounding the alarm for a long time, sometimes a little in vain,” she regrets while pointing out two very specific threats.
“The first is radical Islamism, the most spectacular manifestation of which, as we unfortunately know, are terrorist attacks or attacks like the Samuel Patty affair, but which occur on all societal fronts. Because radical Islamism is not just attacks, it is also all fronts of society on which there are constant attacks.”
