On Tuesday (November 26), FC Barcelona hosted Stade Brestois 29 in the fifth round of the Champions League. It was undoubtedly an important match for Robert Lewandowski, who could join the distinguished group of players with 100 goals scored in this competition.
We didn't have to wait long for it, until the 10th minute. The captain of the Polish national team converted the penalty kick (see HERE), thanks to which he entered the history of the discipline. Lewandowski did not stop there and was on the scoresheet for the second time that evening.
It happened already in the second minute of added time. After a pass from Alejandro Balde, the 36-year-old found himself in the penalty area, deceived two Stade Brestois 29 defenders and sent the ball between the legs of one of them towards the opponent's goal.

The visiting goalkeeper, Marco Bizot, made a lunge, but he was too late to intervene and a moment later he had to pull the ball out of the net (a video recording of the entire goal action can be seen at the end of the article).
Let us add that Lewandowski scored his 100th and 101st goals in the Champions League.
