This Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Tomer Sisley and Raphaël from Casablanca lived unforgettable moments with the Dolpo-Pa, semi-nomadic breeders who defy extremely complicated climatic conditions. This trip completely turned the actor upside down, touched by the love and solidarity of a family. The father of the clan spoke of his difficult childhood. It is at it was 6 years since he started working as a shepherd, in order to help his own father.
Tomer Sisley very touched by a moment between a father and his son
When the first school was established, there was not enough room for everyone. A draw was made, but he was not chosen. “I wasn't so lucky. I saw the other children go to school, but I was a shepherd. And I knew I'd be a shepherd all my life, just a shepherd. It was very difficult”he remembered. Later, he decided to go to a monastery, “to become someone respectable”. It was there that he learned to read and write Tibetan. “Today I work hard for my family, to live properly and get through each winter. My only wish is that my children can go to school to follow their vocationand above all, that they realize their dream”he concludes.
Confidences that moved the one who refused to play in Game of Thrones. The emotion rose a notch when one of the monk's sons spoke. “Thanks to him, we lack nothing. He even bought mules to go into town and bring us everything we needed. He never lets himself be defeated. He does everything for us. He is well respected as a monk, and he always helps the people in the village. I have a lot of respect for him, I am really very proud to be his son.”he declares, with tears in his eyes. Tomer Sisley also wiped away a few tears, adding, with an emotional smile: “I think you can be proud of him. I think you have a pretty amazing dad.“ A magnificent moment.
