He is a comedian, actor, singer, poet, writer, producer and host, but above all, he was in the heyday of television from 1998 to 2019: Patrick Sébastienknown among other things for his former program The Largest Cabaret in the Worldspoke as rarely about a subject that interests a large number of people: his financial situation.
A subject discussed alongside Jordan de Luxe, on the set of the show At Jordan's. And if he is usually rather discreet when it comes to talking about his private life, and particularly about money, Patrick Sébastien still took part in the interview. The opportunity for him to makeastonishing revelations.
Patrick Sébastien: “I’m not a money guy”
How much is his salary today? Was he really winning? 20,000 euros per month when he was at the head of Plus grand Cabaret ? So many questions running through the heads of Patrick Sébastien's fans today, but also of presenter Jordan de Luxe, who did not hesitate to question the former host on this subject. His first response? He does not consider himself a “money guy”.
“I have money in my pocket. I am an old peasant. As long as I have money in my pocket, I know what I have in my pocket”he explains, before affirming that he does not like
“talk about money”. He nevertheless specifies: “I'm very happy to have it. I had a lot of them back then where I worked on La Cinq, la Une, etc. I have less now, I make do with it”. And to conclude: “Everything I have, I have sweated out.”

Patrick Sébastien: why he delegates the management of his accounts
Also asked about the amount of his retirement, the one who likes to spend quality time in his little house far from Paris admitted: “I don’t even know…”. And to explain, as if to justify himself: “I don’t know, I swear I don’t know! I have my daughter and my son who take care of my accounts. I don’t want to!”. Would the former host meet
difficulties with money ?
If nothing confirms it, Patrick Sébastien nevertheless indicates:
“When I earned a little more money, I didn't even want to
not see how much I paid in taxes. I put my hands on it, I signed but I didn’t want to know.” Comments which correlate with the confidences already made on the set of Cyril Hanouna some time ago. The singer of the hit Les Sardines then revealed that he was “Never” financially secure. “I never am, even yet [aujourd’hui]I am not financially secure because I do not calculate, I share”.
These sad confidences from the host about his end of life
A few months ago during the promotion of his latest book, Patrick Sébastien was not very optimistic about his
end of life. He confided, on the set of BuzzTV/Le Figaro: “I don't want to leave at all, but that's part of the order of things. From a certain ageyou know very well that it could happen to you tomorrow morning…”
He had also concluded, after having made some confidences about the stormy relationships that he was able to discuss with Nicolas Sarkozy: “Unfortunately, there are some to whom it happens much earlier… Already having reached 71, that’s already not bad!”
