Elena Lasconi, the USR president who came second in the first round of the presidential elections, is married to former lawyer Cătălin Georgescu.

Elena Lasconi married at the age of 18 and divorced four years later. 18 years later, she met Cătălin Georgescu, her current life partner, writes ProTV.

Cătălin Georgescu was a lawyer until 2019, having 23 years of experience in the field. Then, he made a career change and was employed as a USR adviser in Parliament.

“Cătălin returned dozens of laws, because he is very good at what he does and spends a lot of time at work”said Elena Lasconi.

Elena Lasconi admitted, in an interview for Life.ro, that she met her husband after she decided to ask God for help.

​”The years passed and I began to feel the bitter taste of life, a soul unfulfillment that had already surpassed the phase of resignation, which brought me even closer to God.
