While in 2023, a Christmas bonus was granted to single-parent families, this will not be the case in 2024. The reason: the budgetary context. “Last year, it was something exceptional. This did not exist before,” affirmed the entourage of the Minister of Solidarity, Paul Christophe, to the Parisian.

744,000 households benefited from this 35% surcharge last year. In 2024, eligible single-parent families will therefore receive a “classic” Christmas bonus from December 13.

The amount of this bonus, paid by CAF, varies depending on the size of the household. No action to take: it is paid automatically. Travail can also provide exceptional assistance to certain people who are eligible. They will also receive the amount automatically.

Still with Le Parisien, Paul Christophe's entourage nevertheless affirmed thathe maintained his “interest” in single-parent families.
