The patience of FC Nantes supporters has its limits, and we now know that they are around the quarter without a victory. A rather commendable score which reflects an extraordinary form of resilience of the people of Nantes. At many other clubs, fans would have lost interest in their team. The Canary fans are still at the stadium – there were 27,000 of them to watch the defeat against Le Havre in Ligue 1 – but can no longer stand the spectacle put on by Antoine Kombouaré's men.
Before the match, the Loire Brigade had deployed a banner whose message (“from management to the players, you are only tourists… Welcome to Football Club Med de Nantes”) disturbed the players more than it did. motivated them to believe Casimir's opening score in the 3rd minute for the HAC. The Nantes supporters then interrupted the match a first time by throwing rolls of toilet paper and tennis balls to protest against the LFP then a second time in an attempted invasion of the pitch which for a time threatened the match to end. Not stupid: the best way to prevent Nantes from losing at the moment is to ensure that matches do not end.

“Not tourists”, Alban Lafont reacts to the banner
After the meeting, Antoine Kombouaré was empathetic towards the spectators at La Beaujoire, despite a cleverly hidden dig in the speech. “There is disappointment, but I understand the reaction (of the public). We have supporters who know how to make themselves heard, especially when things don't work. We don't have to worry about that. We have to try to win our matches. If there is this reaction, it is because we have lost. The scenario is catastrophic”
Ditto for Alban Lafont, with the idea of focusing on their rare support rather than dissatisfied supporters. “I don't think we're tourists, after all, I'm inside,” reacted the guard in reaction to the Club Med banner, which he says he didn't see. I know that everyone everyone is giving 100%, is affected at the moment, whether it’s the coach, the staff, the players, the president too. […] What the supporters are saying at the moment is normal because there are bad results. We will move forward with those who support us. » The problem is that at the rate things are going, there won't be many left. The patience of Nantes supporters has limits.
