Just a few months ago, its logo was displayed majestically on the outfits of French athletes during the Paris Games. Barely two and a half months after the end of the Paralympic Games, Le Coq Sportif finds itself in the doldrums. The parent company of the iconic sports brand, Airesis, announced on Friday that the equipment manufacturer had been placed in receivership by the Paris commercial court. The company had already announced in October that it had mandated an investment bank “to assist him in finding suitable financing solutions », “necessary for the pursuit of its activities”. She had in fact admitted to doing “faced with significant financial tensions, particularly in terms of cash flow, the months of October and November being particularly exposed, as every year, during changes in product seasons”.
