It’s a standoff that began as soon as Kylian Mbappé left Paris Saint-Germain last June. After more than 6 years with the capital club, the captain of the France team made the decision to move towards new horizons by choosing to join the biggest club in the world, Real Madrid. In the former club of Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane and Karim Benzema, the kid from Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis) thought he would find the ideal place to relaunch after a complicated last season.
Unfortunately, things are a little more complicated than expected for someone affected by an illness that affects millions of French people every year. In this slump, the Frenchman must also deal with the dispute between him and PSG. Furious with his former club, he demanded the colossal fortune of 55 million euros due to unpaid salaries and bonuses. A case which has been going on for several months now and after several appeals, the capital club appealed to the French Football Federation (FFF) to rule on this matter.
PSG did not send its request on time
After the Professional Football League (LFP) recently agreed with the player, the FFF also went in the direction of the player seen in a nightclub in Sweden during the Israel-France match. The FFF rejected the club's request to re-examine the LFP's injunction to pay 55 million to Kylian Mbappé, AFP learned from a source close to the matter on Friday. The body did not even have to rule since the request to the FFF Executive Committee was sent a day too late by PSG. According to information from our colleagues, the club had 10 days to make this request from the decision of the LFP joint appeal committee in favor of the player, on October 25.
A case which is far from over between the player targeted by an investigation for very serious facts and his former club which still has recourse before the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) and before an administrative court. If nothing is resolved, the matter should probably end up before the industrial tribunal, if Kylian Mbappé decides to refer them.
