Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has some talented kids!
On Thursday, Nov. 21, the actor’s wife, singer Lauren Hashian, shared an Instagram video of their daughters Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6, doing voiceover work for the upcoming Moana sequel.
The video begins with the girls, wearing matching dresses, walking into a recording booth at Walt Disney Animation Studios in awe as they examine a large set piece inspired by the animated franchise that kicked off with the 2016 film.
The clip then cuts to the girls smiling from ear to ear as they recite some of their lines as Johnson, 52, who voices the character of the demigod Maui, sits behind them. While details about their characters are unknown, the girls’ animated counterparts appear to be close in age to them.

Hashian, who married Johnson in August 2019, wrote in the caption that having their daughters be a part of the film made for “the sweetest and FUNNEST day.”
“So exciting that the munchkins got to voice characters for MOANA 2!! The MOANA-BE’s! Moana’s mini fan club on her island ???????????? Tonight will be the very first time we all get to watch it and hear their little voices come to life… we can barely contain the excitement,” Hashian, 40, wrote, noting that the film “has truly always meant the world to them.”

According to an official synopsis, Moana 2 follows Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) three years after her first voyage as she sets out “on an expansive journey in search of people beyond the shores of Motunui.”
“Joined by Maui and a brand-new crew of unlikely seafarers, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced,” the synopsis adds.
Johnson, who is also the father of 23-year-old daughter Simone with ex-wife Dany Garcia, told Entertainment Tonight in February that Moana 2 is “very exciting.”
“I can’t wait for fans to see the film, the technology, the effects, cutting edge. We all really went for it. We thought if we’re gonna make a sequel to something so beloved, let’s really go for it,” he said.

“You also have the benefit and the beauty of the ocean. In Moana… the ocean is alive, so when the ocean has a heartbeat and a pulse, that’s just a whole different thing,” continued Johnson. “I can’t wait.”
