MP Industry Group, a subsidiary of the MEN Industry Group, specializing in the manufacturing of plastic components for the automotive industry in Romania, inaugurated its first factory on Friday at the Tanger Med industrial platform.
Located in Tangier Automotive City (TAC), over an area of 35,000 m2, this project involves the creation of a factory specializing in the manufacturing of plastic parts, using the technology of injecting granules into steel molds, for an investment amount of more than 437.62 million dirhams, with the creation of 150 direct jobs.
Speaking on this occasion, Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry, welcomed this inauguration which is of a strategic nature for the development of the national automobile industry, stressing that “this project, developed within the framework of the Renault ecosystem, once again demonstrates the attractiveness of our industrial platform.
“The arrival of the MP Industry group in Morocco will actively participate in the deployment of the vision outlined for the sector: that of expanding local value chains and densifying our productive fabric,” noted the minister, affirming that “this factory, which is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, will help consolidate our competitive position by promoting the local production of automobile parts.”
